RSA SecurIDŽ User Authentication:
In order to meet the growing security demands of our governmental and commercial clients, we utilize RSA SecurIDŽ two-factor authentication. The RSA SecurIDŽ solution replaces the typical logon password with two-factor authentication comprised of something the user knows, a password or PIN, and something the user has, an authenticator (token) (see Figure 1). When implemented, your CSI Support Staff is assigned unique authentication devices (tokens) that generate an unpredictable, six-digit number every sixty seconds. Along with a correct user name, a password or PIN followed by the correct number from the token results in a hacker-resistant pass-code that positively identifies the technician and allows for a truly authenticated connection to your computer systems when remotely monitoring or troubleshooting errors. The RSA SecurIDŽ solution also eliminates the need for password change policies and maintains an event log of all user authentication attempts. Additionally, this solution allows our customers to enjoy the assurance of quality that is provided by using the industry-standard AES algorithm. Figure 1.
